  • Alejandra and Alejandro, together with Dasiel, are Guest Editors in a Research Topic in Frontiers: 'Insights Into the Relationships Between Host and Vector Microbiota, Host Health and Response to Disease' check it out !

  • We congratulate Ange who has been promoted to "senior technician", by INRAE France. Way to go!

  • Alejandro and Ladislav, together with James (Czech Republic) and Dasiel (Canada), are Guest Editors of a Special Issue in Pathogens: 'New Frontiers in Tick Research' check it

  • Alejandro was keynote speaker at TTP10, 24 and 28 August 2022. Danube Delta, Romania. If you study ticks, this is the best place to go, check it out !

  • Research Outreach prepared a very nice article about the Alpha-Gal syndrome and trade-off between allergy and protection to infectious diseases, check it out !

  • The group co-organized, with a great help of UMR-BIPAR, ANSES and INRAE, the first "French-Czech Tick Meeting (FCTM)" on October 24-25 2019 in Maisons- Alfort, France. More than 30 speakers have announced their super-exciting talks. Great to share ideas with friends in "The City of Light"...

  • The group was awarded by CAMPUS FRANCE for 4,500 Euros over three years to do a tick defensins project with Professor Ana Domingos from IHMT, Lisbon, Portugal (February 2019)

  • The abstract of Alejandro was accepted for an ORAL presentation at the 13th International Symposium on Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases 28–30 March 2019 Weimar, Germany

  • The scientific results of Alejandro were recognized by the scientific community and in 2017 he was awarded the Odile Bain Memorial Prize for his outstanding contribution to Parasitology.
